Gas Prices

Ok so has anyone noticed that gas prices are fucking insane. I'm going to have to starve so i can drive to work. Find a closer job? yeah well if our economy wasnt going to hell maybe that woudl be a possability. Put an oil man in the presidential seat and see what happens. Sorry but I jsut really cant afford to live right now and I dont make bad money. I dont over indulge, i have a simple life and I cant do it. I mean I'm doing it the best that I can but I"m being eaten alive or so it seems. Fucking sucks to work so hard for everything and feel like you arent getting anywhere.

I feel your frustration... although I like Bush for a million other reasons, this oil thing he's doing is terrible.

I found an entry from 2003 saying I paid 18$ to fill up my 11 gallon tank, and now 18$ gets me a a little under 1/2 full. Too fill up completely for me is about 35 dollars. My husband drives a gas guzzler with (I think!) a 22 gallon tank and it costs a little over 60$ to fill up.
My uncle is a father of 5 and drives a van which is in terrible condition. They desperatly need a new one but his wife doesn't work and his job doesn't pay the best. They have to dip into their deminishing saving every month because of gas prices. My uncle even said, "Do I buy the little one some new clothes from Wal*Mart, do I buy some milk, do I put money towards saving for a new van or do I buy gas?"

We've cut back a lot of driving. Our grocery store and a couple restaurants we like are in walking distance. Three of our friends' houses are in walking distance also. The Lake is right by my house so we switched walking on the beach to feeding ducks at the lake.

Whenever I can save, I'm saving for a bike. My could ride to work fairly easy.

But everything is pretty close to me so I have that luxury.

Another thing thatg's frustrating is it's making the worth of the dollar go down and setting us up for another great depression ya know cause Social Security is already fucked. We should all cash out now and move to Switzerland where our money might still be worth something.

I dont know what to do i guess i need to find a closer job b/c i cant afford gass and school lunches and all that stuff b/c tis all increased b/c of buses and everything it just keeps going up so much and earnings arent i dont know.

Yeah, I guess it only makes sense that GW has 6 billion extra dollars laying around to rebuild Iraq. Not that it would be fukked up if it wasn't for him anyway.
But we are paying 2 AND A HALF BUCKS A GALLON (at least that's what it is here) and kids one third my age are starving in NIGERIA.
Yeah, I guess it makes sense.

its 2.69 right now. and I seen something about the kids in Eugaria last night and about this Coney guy who captures them and cuts off their arms and legs and makes them kill their own mothers. why cant we go help them. we do donate money to him but one seal team could go in and take out that guy and then those kids could live without having that insane fear.

its hell expensive here in australia too. it used to cost me $10 a week and that would last me heaps of trips to uni and back. now i use at least $20 a week. im so broke.

welcome to my world of being broke :( it sucks
i just had to take out an emergency loan from the uni so that i can get petrol to drive to prac tomorrow and buy a textbook for my assessment. but i got a job yesterday! so maybe i wont be so broke now? i dunno. maybe i can save to come up there and run away :)

maybe you could but just dont expect it to be all perfect here b/c its not. I make good money and i'm still broke. Nothing is ever enough to survive anymore. Unless you have millions you are struggling.
